Ingredients


Makes: 12 balls
  • 1 C (250 ml) packed medjool dates, about 12 dates
  • 1/2 C (125 ml) nut butter, such as peanut butter, almond, or nut-free alternative
  • 1/2 C (125 ml) hemp hearts
  • 2 scoops Power Up Chocolate Protein Blend , or Power Up Vanilla Optimum Protein Blend
  • 4 Tbsp (60 ml) milk, your choice
  • Toppings (optional): Cocoa Acai Smoothie Booster, Super Greens Smoothie Booster, Cocoa Crunch Whole Food Topper, or shredded coconut

Preparation


 
  • Remove pits from dates; coarsely chop. Place dates, nut butter, hemp hearts, protein powder, and milk in a food processor. Pulse just until combined and dough is slightly sticky, about 20–30 sec.
  • Portion dough into 12 balls; roll in desired toppings.
  • Refrigerate up to 5 days or freeze up to 2 months.
